Originally, the Company started as a brewery with its own malting facility. In 1920 however, the brewing ceased and all efforts were put into malt production. Up to 1947 the production was sold domestically only. Since then the capacity has gradually been increased and today it amounts to 110,000 tonnes of malt of Pilsen and Munich type.
